JKG Bits 2: The Visit to the Fire Station

This week’s theme at The Daily Post is NOSTALGIC. One of the nostalgic moments during my school time was the visit to the local fire station.

One of the professions I admire is being a FIREMAN and I sometimes wish to become one when I grow up. Being able to help people in distress is what I think I want to do when I am older.

And so the visit to the local fire station last school year was like a dream true to me! I always feel nostalgic when I remember this visit 🙂

We were welcomed by the chief of the local fire station.

He explained to us what it is like to be a fireman.

 

The firemen helped me try the fireman suit!

  

  

The gas mask is to protect the fireman from inhaling smoke. They helped me to try it also!

We got to ride the firetruck too!

And lastly, they let me try using the firehose!

This trip was the best ever!

Magical! Dream come true!
