This split-second story captures the end of my family’s Antipolo times. My parents sold this house last month because we have not stayed here for quite a while now. My family has been living in the UAE and we come here during our vacations only. We don’t even really stay here during the whole vacation because we would usually stay in our grannies’ place in Bulacan. This house is also a bit far, located in the cool and breezy mountains of Antipolo City.

Leaving this place is a sad part for our family because there’s lots of good memories shared in here.

However, a new house is currently being constructed in Bulacan, and this will be our new vacation house in the Philippines. It is within my grannies’ compound so we will not be very far away from our loved ones. I’ll share the pics with you when the construction finishes.

This week’s theme for The Daily Post  Weekly Photo Challenge is “Split-Second Story”.

The challenge is to become a documentary photographer and attempt to capture a candid moment of a person, place or thing. The author is asked to tell a story by documenting a moment in time through a single image.
