Another visit to one of our favorite restos – Applebees!
This kid-friendly resto has a menu for kids, and at the back of the menu is an activitiy page where I can color pictures and answer puzzles.
APPETIZER SAMPLER. A platter to please everybuddy at the table. Must have Mozarella sticks, spinach and Artichoke dip, delicious Cheese Quesailla Grande (contains beef bacon) and Boneless Wings.
DOUBLE-GLAZED BEEF BACK RIBS. Beef back ribs rubbed with barbeque seasonings and basted in our choice of sauce (we chose Honey BBQ sauce). Served with fries and coleslaw.
THREE-CHEESE CHICKEN PENNE. An Italian trio of cheeses – top a rich mix of penne pasta, grilled chicken, bruschetta, fresh basil and Alfredo sauce. Served with toasted side bread.
CHEESY MAC’N’CHEESE. This cheesy and flavorful baked pasta takes cavatappi pasta and tosses it in an indulgent cheesy sauce, with smoked beef bacon. Topped with garlic herb bread crumbs and baked until hot and bubbly.
Whatta lunch!
We enjoyed our food and we’ll surely come back for more!

I notice most of the restaurants and stores you go to are American franchises. Are there many in that part of the world?

Oh yes, I think so. I think the Arabs like to try American food too 😀
