My cousins in the Philippines were recent winners in pageants held in their respective schools. I would like to congratulate them all!

Title-holders all: (from left to right) – Kuya Franz Rover is Little Mister Sportsfest, Ate Nicole is Miss FS 2014, and Ichan is Little Mister KDSBI.

Seems like ours is a family of good-looking and talented pips.

No, I didn’t buy this new toy airplane. This was made from recyclable materials!

This was made from plastic containers of shampoo and dish-washing soap.

This is a school project wherein we were asked to make a vehicle model from recyclable materials.

I am submitting this tomorrow and I hope I get a nice mark with this one 🙂

Weekly Photo Challenge: THREES

This week’s photo challenge theme at The Daily Post is called “THREES”. It’s about making a “three-picture story” or anything that relates to THREE.

In a nutshell, a three-picture story is a way to help you think about storytelling with images. To create a three-picture story, gather:

  1. An establishing shot: a broad photo of your subject.
  2. A relationship: two elements interacting with one another.
  3. A detail: a close-up of one part of your subject.

You don’t necessarily have to take your photos with this in mind — you can simply use it as a guideline for choosing three photos you’ve already taken, or try cropping photos to focus on the key details.

I tried doing a three-picture story and here it goes…

I love dinners like these.

The Joys of Receiving New Toys (Part 16)

I’m connecting today’s post with The Daily Post’s Photo Challenge Theme, which is “TREASURE”.

This post is part 16 of the series of posts. My parents take a snap of me whenever I receive a new toy. I guess it’s not the toys that are considered “treasures” here, but the smiles on each photographs. Priceless.

Check out more treasures on these sites:
