World’s Biggest Stamp

The world’s biggest stamp is on display at Al Ain Mall.

Emirates post released this commemorative hexagonal stamp on 21st March 2013. The stamp features “The Mother of the Nation” logo.

On the occassion of Mother’s Day 2013 in the UAE, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak was honoured for her achievements in various fileds in the local and regional level, as a gesture of appreciation from UAE mothers.

As part of the celebrations and in her honor, the world’s biggest postage stamp bearing the “Mother of the Nation” logo was submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records. A team from Guinness has authenticated it as the world’s biggest, measuring 1.17 x 1.34 mteters.
