Heritage Village in Abu Dhabi

We visited the UAE Heritage Village located in Abu Dhabi.
The UAE Heritage Village is a reconstruction of a traditional oasis, which allows visitors a glimpse of the local’s way of life in the past.
A lot of traditional stuffs can be bought around the place.
A camel ride can be tried.
Or wonder on how these old wells bring out water.
Traditional boats.
There was a restaurant where you can try arabic dishes.
And there was also a handicraft store where some craftsmen demostrate traditional skills such as metal work and pottery, while women show weaving and spinning. (visitabudhabi.ae)
The museum houses some important pieces of the past.

It was a fun way to study this foreign land’s history.

I didn’t try the camel ride too. Dad said I’m still too small for it.
The handicraft store was fun but I didn’t get any pictures from inside
Thanks for the visit

My family went on a road trip around Abu Dhabi City last weekend and we visited some important landmarks.
Yup, the handicraft store was really cool but I’m so sorry I couldn’t get pictures from inside. Thanks for stopping by
