Vacation Bits 10: My Uncle’s Wedding

One of the main reasons why we went home to the Philippines was to attend Uncle Jay’s wedding. Uncle Jay is Dad’s youngest brother. He was marrying Jasmine, a co-high school teacher.

For the wedding, Dad and I wore the traditional dress called “Barong Tagalog” while Mom wore a light brown dress bought from Abu Dhabi.

Dad took my grandfather’s place in bringing the groom to the altar. My grandmother wore the traditional Filipiniana gown.

I was also part of the entourage.

I was the RING BEARER.

The wedding was held at St. Ildephonsus Parish Church. My parents got married on this very beautiful church too.

Three generations in Philippine national dress.

I was starting to  get impatient with all the pictorials…

And yes, I was already crying in this pic. My dad looked worried already… that we wouldn’t get a perfect shot :)
