It was another exciting trip for me! My parents and I, together with our friends, went to climb the highest peak in Al Ain City – Mount Hafeet, or locally known as Jebel Hafeet.

The mountain actually straddles part of the border with Oman. The mountain rises 1240 meters and offers an impressive view over the city, with a drivable road extending to the summit. Jebel Hafeet was a well-known landmark through out the area’s history and is a contemporary tourist attraction. An extensive natural cave system winds through Jebel Hafeet. (dubaiforums.com)

After reaching the peak, we went down to Green Mubazarah park located at the foot of the mountain. There we ate, and had picture-taking. We all had fun and we surely enjoyed this trip.
