A nice dinner was held in our flat this evening as thanks-giving for Ninong Remyr’s successful passing of the IELTS exams. Present were Ninong Miller, Ninong Roger, Ninong Remyr, Ninang Karen, Tita DJ, Tito Mark, and Tita She. Dad cooked pasta in white sauce while Mom prepared a delicious ref cake. There were pizza, garlic bread and drinks too.

Yup, I’m Katorse! No, not 14 years old like Erich Gonzales in the tv soap “Katorse.” I’m 14 months old today! Yahoo! So what did we do today to celebrate my day?
Mom cooked special ginataang mais in the afternoon. Early evening, we dropped by St. Mary’s Church to thank the Lord for the blessing of good health and happy life. After that, we proceeded to Choitrams Supermarket to do a little grocery.
After shopping, we went to Golden Gate Restaurant for a special birthday dinner only for the three of us. I really enjoyed the food!
When we got home, my parents lighted a candle on a slice of cake and sang happy birthday to me! Dad inflated some colorful balloons to set the party mood!
I had a simple but wonderful 14th-month birthday today! Thanks po!

I’m so sad. It’s Dad’s last vacation day! Three weeks flew so fast! But we really enjoyed our times together with Mom. We went to malls, ate a lot, played a lot, and most of all… slept a lot! Just being together everyday defined our happiness. It’s just so sad that it’s over. Dad will start working again tomorrow. Huhuhuhu…
Dad, can you extend your vacation for four more weeks??
